Where each column comes from
The three fee columns carry each jurisdiction’s entry from its own state DMV, DPS or BMV fee schedule, with the cited page recorded per state in the dataset’s fees.source_url field. The four ELDT columns carry counts from the FMCSA Training Provider Registry public bulk export of training locations: active_providers counts providers with an Active status, and the location columns count distinct registered locations by delivery mode. The dataset’s own caveats note that most state fee pages show no effective date, so these figures are a point-in-time snapshot rather than a live feed.
