Privacy policy

LicenseReady collects as little data as possible. Here’s exactly what happens.

What we collect

LicenseReady does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information in order to use the practice tests. Server access logs record your IP address, the URL you visited, your browser’s user-agent string, and the timestamp — standard web-server fields used to operate the site and detect abuse. Logs are rotated and retained for no more than 30 days.

Cookies

The core site does not set first-party cookies. If you choose to use a feature in the future that requires session state (such as saving your high score), we’ll set a single, locally-scoped cookie with no third-party sharing.

Advertising

LicenseReady displays ads served by third-party advertising networks. Those networks may set their own cookies and use device identifiers to deliver and measure advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising in most browsers and at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com. Our advertising slots are clearly labeled.

Analytics

We use privacy-preserving server-side analytics that count page requests but do not build profiles of individual users. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking scripts.

Children

LicenseReady is not directed at children under 13. The CDL minimum age in most states is 18 (intrastate) or 21 (interstate). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

If you live in a jurisdiction that grants rights of access, deletion, or correction (such as the EU, UK, California, Virginia, Colorado, or Connecticut), you may exercise those rights by emailing privacy@licenseready.example. Because we collect so little personal information, in most cases there’s nothing for us to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we’ll post a notice on the homepage and update the effective date below.

Effective date: July 1, 2026.
